MFT Release Replay...

Today the MFT Design Team are sharing the Release Replay for the July 2017 Release.  There were SO many amazing new products released this month.  I wanted to stop in and share the first card I made when I got my package of release goodies.  I saw this Celebrate Speech Bubble die and knew that it needed to be an interactive card.  I have several pics to share and a short video of how it works linked below.

To create this card, I took a white card base and scored every half inch.  Next, I took the celebrate die and added 2 layers of foam tape around the sides and along the bottom.  I wanted there to be room for a removable window.....or in this case 2 removable windows.

I took the set called Interactive Labels and created to "Pull" tabs for the tops of the slide outs.

The first slide out is a piece of white cardstock, where I adhered the insides of the letters to create the full Celebrate in white.  After pulling out the first slide out you see this.....

I took a piece of Blue Raspberry cardstock and sprayed it with Silver Glitter Dust Spray for a fun bunch of sparkle.

When you pull out the second Blue Raspberry Slide out you see this.....

This rainbow panel is actually attached to the card front.  I ink blended several colors by masking off sections with post it tape.  When it was dry, I sprayed it with a layer of the Silver Glitter Dust too.  I love the colorful reveal after removing the slide outs.  I have linked a video below to show you a fun little addition to this card, to make it more interactive and even more special for the recipient.  :)

Here is a quick video to show you how it works....

There will be lots more to see over at the MFT Blog.  Head on over there and check out the Release Replay!

Thanks so much for stopping in today!

MFT July Product Launch...

It's the most fun day of the month!  It's release time over at MFT!  I have a card to share for today's Product Launch using the most adorable new Gift Card Envelope, Handwritten Happiness and the Heart Shaped Balloon....

First, I pulled out the Four Way Chevron Cover-Up and the Sweet Celebration Paper Pack to create the background.  Next, I die cut the envelope in Blu Raspberry.  I used one of the Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle Stax for the note inside the envelope.  The birthday sentiment from Handwritten Happiness fit perfectly!

To finish off the card, I die cut one of the new Heart Shaped Balloons and added it to the envelope with foam tape.  I wanted it to stand out, so I covered it in Glossy Accents for a little shine!

Head on over to the MFT Blog to see more of this months release.  So glad you stopped in tonight.  Have a great evening!

love x 2...

Hi crafty friends! I recently pulled out the Heart Throb kit from Queen and Co. and was inspired to make a couple cards.  I do love white space so this is how the first one came out....

July 2017 Queen and Co

I added some black striped washi along the bottom of the card base.  Next, I added the heart shaker foam and added some hearts from the kit.  I layered that with the heart shaped piece of acetate....already cut and so EASY to put together....and the topped it off with the stitched heart die.  I love how all the pieces work together so well!  Next, I added in the love die cut in some glitter paper and then heat embossed the "you" on black card stock.  So simple and so fun!

July 2017 Queen and Co

I wanted to go with the same sentiment but change up the look and color combo for the next card...

July 2017 Queen and Co

I added in a heart die and then around the die cut, I glued several heart toppings, also from the Heart Throb kit.  I finished it off with the same glittery love and heat embossed sentiment as the first card.  2 matching elements with 2 totally different cards!

Hope you have enjoyed all the love here today!  So glad you stopped by.  Hope you have a great day!

Hi!  I'm stopping in with my last guest post over at The Ton.  I have had such a fun month playing with the amazing stamps.  I had to make one more CAS rainbow card to end on.  I picked Brushed Hello for my last project...

This was a fun one to create.  I used all Impress Inks to create these amazing blended background.  After that, I splashed a few drops of water around and then stamped that big sentiment.  I love that it is the main focus of the card.  I added the "it's been a while" on a banner and popped that up on foam tape.  The rainbow panel is all on foam tape, so it stand out a little from the white card base.  For a little bit more detail, I added in some dew drops to finish off the card.

I'm sending a huge thank you to Effie for having me and for the chance to use her stamps.  I can't wait to make more cards very soon!  I hope you have enjoyed my projects this month.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you have a great day!

Stopping in with a quick card using a die from the June release over at MFT.  I have been so very busy with life and kid stuff lately that I haven't had much time for stamping.  I was afraid my mojo was gone and couldn't find it anywhere.  Until I grabbed a box full of stamped die cut flowers from a few months ago.  I realized that having this box of die cuts made things so much easier for me!  I was able to just grab these flowers and lay them out to create this quick card....

I used the press n seal technique I shared back in 2016 to lay these flowers out.  SO much easier and so quick!  Next, I die cut white card stock and fun foam to create the "Thanks" sentiment.  I added Glossy Accents to the letters and then did a sprinkle of glitter on top.  Last, I added the card front to the card base with fun foam and done!

Here is the video I made using the flower arranging technique....

That's it for today!  So glad you came by.  The July MFT Release starts next week so stop back by!  Hope you have a great 4th of July!

you're the greatest...

Hi again!  I'm back with another guest post for The Ton Stamps.   I am a CAS stamper and usually go for the quick stamping stamps.  When I see black and white pandas....aside from the fact that they are super cute....they don't need any coloring and that is right up my alley!  So today, I have created a quick and easy card, highlighting these adorable pandas from the set called Panda Can't Even....

I used a light gray cardstock for the base and then layered a heart die with foam tape.  I stamped and fussy cut the bears and added them to the card with more foam tape for dimension.  Next, I added in the sentiment on a banner die.  The last detail I added was the red heart image from the set.  Easy peasy!

This set, Panda Can't Even, includes 7 of the most adorable panda images,  along with sentiments in a gorgeous font, so the possibilities are endless.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today.  I will stop back in soon.  Have a great day!

Creative Construction with Blueprints...

Every month over at MFT, we get together and have a challenge using the Blueprints dies called Creative Construction with Blueprints.  This is one of my favorite posts each month because I am a huge fan of the Blueprints.  I love an easy card.  When I can use just a few elements and put them together to create a clean and simple card....I'm in.  The Blueprint dies help do just that.  One of my favorite sets is Blueprints 18.  There are 2 panels in this set with a diagonal card front cut and with those 2 panels, the possibilities are endless.  Using the bottom panel, I created this super easy card...

First, I cut the background panel in white.  Next, I took the grass die and cut it out and then used that same diagonal panel to cut the bottom edge of the grass, so it fits along the bottom edge of the white panel perfectly.  I added the sentiment along the bottom and the popped up the panda on foam tape.  The panda, sentient and bambo trees are all from the set Happy Panda and their coordinating dies.  And really?  Thats it!  So quick and simple!

There will lots more Blueprints creations over at the MFT blog.  Stop over there and check it out!  So glad you stopped in today!

Pretty Presents...

Hey there!  I have 2 cards here today, with one design....and of course, clean and simple all using elements from Queen and Company!

Both cards use all the elements from the June Kit...Pretty Presents.  This first card, I created a shaker box, using a white gift on a white background, so those toppings inside the box would pop!  I layered them onto the card base with a piece of green pattered paper from the pack included in the kit.

This next card also uses the patterned paper from the kit with the white on white theme, but this time, I used the shaker box foam and dies, just to create a 3D gift.  I love how easy it is to create a shaker box with this kit, but it also works for different looks.  I added the black cut outs down inside the box for a fun little detail.

Hope you are enjoying your Pretty Presents kit.  If you don't have one, now is a great time to shop!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

MFT June Card Kit Release....

It's time!  The MFT June Card Kit is available over at the MFT store!  You guys....this is a fun one!!

I have one card left to share.  This one uses 2 elements from the kit...the sentiment and the heart "flames".

June 2017 MFT Card Kit

I took the scalloped card front die from Blueprints 27 and the created a scalloped envelope for the card front.  I attached that to a ombre, ink blended card base.  Next, I took candles from the Make a Wish set and cut them out using patterned paper.  I popped one of them up on foam tape for a dimensional look.  I finished this card off with a pink sentiment and some glossy accents/glitter on the hearts.

June 2017 MFT Card Kit

To start off this card, I heat embossed the sentiment along the bottom.  I love that big sentiment in this adorable font!  After heat embossing, I did some ink blending into an ombre finish on the card base.  Next, I added in the envelopes and finished it off with the little heart dies and some white gel pen for a little added detail.
